Following the National Mental Health Stakeholders’ Forum held on February 18, 2026, the Kenya Psychiatric Association (KPA) has committed to leading Action Area No. 2. This mandate involves the formation of a specialized consortium tasked with reviewing and proposing enhancements to the Social Health Authority (SHA) mental health benefits package. Our final technical recommendations will be submitted to the Health Benefits and Tariffs Advisory Panel (HBTAP) for consideration.
